Landscape Restoration

This minor is of particular interest to students majoring in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology; Environmental Science and Management; Landscape Architecture; Biological Sciences; Evolution and Ecology; Plant Biology; and Sustainable Environmental Design.

The minor is sponsored by the Department of Plant Sciences.

Requirements: 

Prerequisites to most courses in the minor

  • BIS 002C Introduction to Biology: Biodiversity and the Tree of Life (5 units)
  • PLS 002 Botany and Physiology of Cultivated Plants (4 units) 

19-24 units

Complete the following courses (7 units)

  • ENH 160 Restoration Ecology (3 units)
  • ENH 160L Restoration Ecology Laboratory (1 unit)
  • PLS 192 Internship (1-12 units)
    • Three internship units required.
