The UC Davis Washington Program in D.C. gives you real-world experience through a wide variety of challenging internships in our nation's capital. Whether your major is in the arts, humanities or sciences, the Washington Program provides exciting opportunities to combine your coursework with exciting field research through powerful organizations like The Smithsonian, NASA, the Food and Drug Administration, and more.
You will spend an entire academic quarter or summer during your junior or senior year living with other interns at the UC Washington Center—six blocks from the White House—and exploring the capital while making valuable career contacts and building your resume. A research seminar for academic year participants, elective upper division course and academic credit round out the Washington experience. Tuition is the same as you would pay to stay in Davis, and your financial aid award will be adjusted to meet the increased cost of the program.
